Dishub Prepares Traffic Diversion and Transjakarta Bus for Christmas

The Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) has prepared traffic diversions in the capital for this year's Christmas celebration, including adding Transjakarta buses and extending its operation hours.

Dishub Head, Syafrin Liputo revealed traffic diversion would be applied on toll roads and non-toll roads by limiting the operation of goods transportation to smooth the homecoming and returning flow during the Christmas Day celebration.
"On toll roads, we are imposing operational restrictions on the transportation of goods during the homecoming flow which starts on December 22, 2022, at 11 PM. Then for returning flow is on December 25, 2022, at 12 PM until December 26, 2022, at 8 AM," he expressed, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release, Thursday (12/22).

1. Jakarta and Banten: Jakarta – Tangerang – Merak
2. Jakarta: Prof. DR. Ir. Sedyatmo and Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR)
3. Jakarta and West Java: Jakarta – Cikampek and Jakarta – Bogor – Ciawi – Cigombong
For non-toll roads, operational restrictions on goods transportation apply from 5 AM to 10 PM starting on December 22, 2022, until December 26, 2022.
"We will also place traffic control officers around the Cathedral Church and the Immanuel Church. Hopefully, residents will comply with the regulations applied by the officers," he explained.
To maximize it, his party coordinated with PT Transjakarta to add buses and extend its operating hours. On December 24, the regular service will be extended to 11 PM and the night service (Amari) will remain operating from 10 PM to 5 AM.
On December 25, 2022, to January 8, 2023, the regular services are operating normally and Amari services are operating from 10 PM to 5 AM, as well as there will be additional frequencies and routes in tourist spots, such as TMII, Ancol, and Ragunan:
- 4H Pulo Gadung 2 - Ragunan
- 13D Puri Beta - Ragunan
- 5H Harmoni - Ancol
- 7D Kampung Rambutan (TMII) - Pancoran
Transjakarta will also add five tour buses operating on the New Jakarta (Istiqlal – Bundaran HI) and Skyscraper (IRTI – Bundaran Senayan) routes during Christmas and New Year celebrations (December 25 - January 8, 2023).
